The Rift - The Wiki for Competitive Zombies

We are pleased to announce The Rift, a wiki of strategies, guides, and information updated by community members, for community members old and new alike.

The Rift Promotion

The Rift includes several information types for players to refer to when understanding competitive zombies. The information repository is divided into six major topics: High Round Strategies, Easter Egg Speedrun Strategies, Round Speedrun Strategies, Technical Guides, Rules & Guidelines, and General Information.

The Rift Homepage Topics

Each topic can help players expand their understanding.

  • High Rounds, Easter Egg, and Round Speedruns are for all players to go into detail on how strategies work, and how to perform them effectively.
  • Technical Guides can help players set up their technology, whether it be game settings, setting up 3rd party tools, or explaining community-verified files to use when competing.
  • Rules and Guidelines help players by clearly explaining complex rulesets and situations that may not be immediately obvious, ensuring everyone can play and compete with a shared understanding of the rules. This topic also contains official ZWR information and usage guides.
  • General Information is the topic for all the niche and unique mechanics found throughout Zombies.

User-submitted content is made for the community, and made by the community.

Submit Page Example

  • We encourage bringing in as much information as possible, but accurate information is essential, and more of a priority.
  • A template for High Round Strategies is available to get users started as well. More templates will be provided in the future.
  • The information repository will become much more expansive over time as the community gathers more information.
  • Selecting a topic and game are required to submit a page, however if you are submitting about a specific map or category, you have the choice to specify, enabling users to see what your page is about at a glance
  • Users are welcome to request edits on pages as well. If something seems out of place or needs more work, you can submit revisions for inaccuracies and help improve the repository

Edit Request Example

Users have several ways to portray the most user-friendly content for all players to learn from.

  • Whether you start from scratch or use a template, users provide a title, description, and topics their page falls under.
  • Headings, subheadings and table of contents can help to break down loadouts, setup, and more to ensure the page is easy to navigate.
  • From images to videos, text to tables, users have multiple tools at their disposal to help inform the community on their insight of strategy and understanding mechanics.
